Went here on a Tuesday night with a friend and surprisingly there was no wait. We ordered carpaccio, udon, yakitori, and a variety of sushi. Carpaccio was very fresh and not too citrusy like at some other places and all the sushi just melted in my mouth! Yakitori is also a must. Beef short rib was very tender, sea bass was seasoned perfectly and buttery, and chicken skin was personally my favorite. Last but not least, uni cream udon is to die for. At most places that I have had it the cream can be too overwhelming and heavy but here it was well balanced. Also there was so much uni that they threw in there you can taste the uni until the last bite of this dish. Overall, the ambiance, the quality of food, and the customer service was great and I will be back!

Izakaya Tora in West Hollywood is consistently fantastic, and this was my 10th visit! The sushi is always fresh, with standout dishes like the melt-in-your-mouth Toro and rich Uni. The atmosphere is cozy yet modern, and the service is top-notch. Whether it's a casual meal or a special night out, Izakaya Tora never disappoints. Highly recommend! @sushitraveler

I recently had the change to visit this fantastic izakaya. The sushi was incredibly fresh and delicious- definitely some of the best I've had in LA. You could really taste the quality of the ingredients. We also tried the yakitori and it was just as impressive. My absolute favorite was the sea bass. It was so good! Perfectly cooked and incredibly tender. On top of that, the service was amazing. The chef and staff were super friendly and attentive. If you're in the area, this izakaya is definitely worth checking out!

Tasty Japanese food in WeHo I enjoyed the Miso Cod, which was delectably flaky. I thought it was solid but my table thought the rest of their food was just OK with the rice not feeling super fresh. The inside is small but well designed.
